running secondary air?

Injecting fresh air into exhaust, supposed to help with emissions.

well I know what it is...but why should an LS swap need one? why make that a point in the story? There is no way an LS needs secondary air to clean up disco emissions.

Factory wise the 5.3 has secondary air so depending on the state’s requirements they may need to run factory emissions, like you would in California.

I am so excited! My truck is fine now, but one day that 4.6 is going to shit the bed. Some guys locally tried a TDi swap and it was an absolute nightmare. This is the greatest thing ever.

My buddy works for lucky8 and he told me about it. They’re using the D2's bosch electronics so state inspection won’t know the difference.

The 04 4.6 runs secondary air and so the ECU will look for the pump working. This way you don’t have to do any ECU hackery to trick it.
